Brush Mounting Systems

Efficient insertion of brushes and seals in in roller shutter profiles and similar profiles.

Efficient process in 5 steps:

1. The profiles are placed on the infeed conveyor by hand or with the help of a lifting aid. There they are buffered and are then ready for the brushes to be drawn in.[/p]

2. When a profile reaches the inserting station, a brush is automatically pushed into the lower groove of the profile.

3. Another unit then grabs the brush and pulls it completely through the profile. If the brush is drawn in, it is automatically cut off. The length of the brush is measured while it is being drawn in. This ensures that the brush is drawn in over the entire length of the profile.

4. In the fourth step, the conveyor belt moves by one profile unit and the upper brush is drawn in in a second inserting station. The two stations work at the same time, but independently of each other.

5. When both brushes are drawn in, the profile is transported to the rolling station. There the profile is pushed through the rolling station by means of a pusher. At the same time, a protective film can optionally be applied to the bottom and top of the profile.

Our brush assembly systems increase your production speed by up to 400%. This saves you tons of money. The automatic brush assembly system assembles approx. 100 brushes / profiles per hour. The semi-automatic brush assembly system assembles approx. 50 brushes / profiles per hour.

Müller TB Technologies AG will be happy to tell you more about such facts.

Semi-automatic Brush Mounting System

The semi-automatic system pushes brushes or seals into profiles such as window shade rails or others. Threading and trimming are done manually. The machine has a small footprint. The system is able to process up to 50 profiles per hour per hour with one person. The optional application of protective film takes place at the same time.

Automatic Brush Mounting System

This system works completely automatically, brushes are fully automatically inserted, cut off and fixed into the profile. The system is able to process up to 100 profiles per hour per hour with one person. The optional application of protective film takes place at the same time.
